How to use – advice from BARF Italia experts
Storage: keep the product in the freezer at –18°C.
Administration:
- Defrost naturally at room temperature or in the refrigerator
- Serve the minced rabbit raw after thawing.
- Tip for mini breeds: Although the mincemeat is formulated for dogs of all sizes, owners of toy and small breed dogs are advised to pay particular attention to the possible presence of bones, fish bones, or cartilage that are not appropriate for the size of the dog.
Recommended daily amount:
- Adult dogs: 2–3% of body weight
- Puppies: approximately 5%, depending on activity and metabolism
After thawing, store in the refrigerator and consume within 48 hours. Always supervise the animal during feeding.
