How to use – advice from BARF Italia experts
Storage: keep the product in the freezer at –18°C.
Administration:
- Allow to defrost naturally in the refrigerator or at room temperature
- Serve the minced lamb and rabbit raw after defrosting.
- Tip for mini breeds: Although the mincemeat is formulated for dogs of all sizes, owners of toy and small breed dogs are advised to pay particular attention to the possible presence of bones, fish bones, or cartilage that are not appropriate for the size of the dog.
Recommended daily amount:
- Adult dogs: 2–3% of body weight
- Puppies: approximately 5%, varying according to activity and metabolism
After thawing, refrigerate and consume within 48 hours. Always supervise your dog during feeding.
